Navarro Community Commitment Grants Program
Navarro supports and encourages educational initiatives. Through our Community Commitment Grants Program, we focus on growing the next generation of workers for the Nevada National Security Site and on improving the educational experience in our local schools.
We are now accepting applications (below) for our 2025 Community Commitment Grants Program. We designed the program to recognize and support excellence in teaching by providing funds for specific projects or curricula in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Grant eligibility is open to public, private, and charter schools in the counties of Clark, Elko, Esmeralda, Lincoln, Nye, and White Pine in Nevada. Eligibility is based on the affected communities near the Nevada National Security Site and/or include U.S. Department of Energy radioactive waste transportation routes in Nevada.
Deadline to submit a grant application is 5:00 p.m. PT on October 23, 2024 by downloading the application below then emailing the completed application to STEM.Grants@emnv.doe.gov. For additional questions, call 702-523-0894.
