2017 marks the 12th consecutive year that Navarro has gone without a Lost Workday on its Characterization and Remediation project at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). This achievement demonstrates Navarro’s commitment to safety for our workers, whether they are in the field, in the office, or elsewhere. We are proud of the safety culture of our workforce at NNSS and this noteworthy achievement.

As prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management (EM) Nevada Program, Navarro performs characterization and remediation to address environmental impacts of contamination resulting from historic nuclear testing at the NNSS and Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). Our scope includes drilling, soil and groundwater sampling, waste management and demolition of structures. Our workers face hazards such as radiological contamination, unexploded ordnance, extreme weather, and work in remote and rugged locations.
